Neurodevelopmental Needs
Children with neurodevelopmental disorders often face challenges that affect their learning, behaviour, and social-emotional development. We aim to empower children with neurodevelopmental conditions to build confidence, develop essential skills, and thrive in all areas of their lives.
Our Approach
We provide tailored support for children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, and specific learning needs. Our approach includes comprehensive assessments, practical interventions, and collaboration with families and schools to address cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and social challenges. By building on each child’s strengths, we aim to foster confidence, resilience, and success across home, school, and community settings.

Key Areas of Support:
Comprehensive Assessments
We conduct detailed assessments to understand a child’s strengths and challenges across cognitive, emotional, and social domains. This may include evaluating attention, executive functioning, learning abilities, and social-emotional skills. These insights guide personalised intervention plans to support development.
Tailored Interventions
Our interventions are designed to meet the individual needs of each child:
-
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT): For managing anxiety, emotional regulation, and behavioural challenges.
-
Social Skills Training: To help children build positive relationships and improve peer interactions.
-
Habit Reversal Training (HRT): For managing tics and associated behaviours in Tourette Syndrome.
-
Executive Function Support: Strategies to enhance planning, organisation, and self-regulation.
Family Support
We provide psychoeducation to families to support their understanding of the neurodevelopmental condition and its impacts, with practical strategies and guidance for creating supportive home environments. Our goal is to support families in managing stress and enhancing family resilience.
School Collaboration
We work with schools to ensure consistency across settings. This includes:
-
Individualised Education Plans (IEPs): Supporting the development of IEPs and implementing classroom accommodations
-
Training: To teachers and staff on managing behaviours and supporting learning.
-
Liaison: Promoting effective communication between families and educators.
Therapeutic Care
By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and paediatricians, we provide a well-rounded approach to care that considers every aspect of a child’s life.
