Welcome

At NeuroKids, we support children, young people and their families as they navigate the challenges associated with brain injury, neurodevelopmental, neurological or neuropsychiatric symptoms. The emphasis is on individual assessment and needs-led support to ensure therapeutic input is specifically designed to address the unique psychological, emotional, learning and developmental needs of the individual.

 

We work collaboratively to identify clear therapy aims and treatment goals, with regular evaluations to monitor progress and optimise outcomes across home and school settings. Our ultimate goal is to empower children, young people, their families, and those around them by addressing challenges proactively and equipping them with the tools and strategies to thrive in all areas of life.

Rehabilitation Services

We provide specialist neuropsychological, psychological, educational, and medico-legal services for children and young people with complex needs. Our work spans health, education, rehabilitation, and legal contexts, supporting families, professionals, and commissioning bodies.

EDUCATIONAL 
PSYCHOLOGY

Through assessments and tailored interventions, we support children and young people to manage educational challenges, develop skills and achieve their full potential. We work with families and educational professionals to foster positive relationships and promote inclusive practices. 

We conduct assessments to identify cognitive strengths and challenges, providing information to inform interventions and rehabilitation. Our assessments address needs such as behaviour, learning, memory, attention, executive functioning, and social-emotional regulation.

We specialise in working in the medico-legal setting providing expert witness neuropsychology and educational psychology assessments. with comprehensive evaluations, impartial reports, and tailored recommendations and prognosis. We assist Claimants and Defendants, providing unbiased opinion to inform legal proceedings.

Our approach is assessment-led and formulation driven. Support is and evidence-based, grounded in neuropsychological formulation and developmental understanding. We provide clear, impartial opinion to inform clinical, educational, rehabilitation, and medico-legal decision-making, with intervention where clinically indicated.

We are registered practitioner psychologists (HCPC) who provide  neuropsychological, psychological and educational services for children and young people with a range of complex needs. Including assessment, therapy, rehabilitation, MDT input, teaching/ training, and expert opinion across health, education and legal contexts.

We support children and young people up to age 25 with neurological, neurodevelopmental, neuropsychological, and neuropsychiatric conditions. Through collaboration with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams, we deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions to help children and young people thrive.

We provide specialist rehabilitation and support for children and young people who have experienced brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, hypoxic-ishemic injury, strokes, seizures or other acquired brain injuries.

We provide specialist therapeutic and educational support for a range of neurodevelopmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, tics, Tourette Syndrome, and specific learning difficulties.

We support children and young people who are experiencing functional neurological symptoms and co-occurring mental health needs, including non-epileptic seizures, movement disorders, and other sensory symptoms.

NeuroKids provides specialist, assessment-led neuropsychology, psychology and educational psychology services for children and young people with complex neurological, neurodevelopmental, and psychological needs. We work with families, case managers, solicitors, and other professionals across clinical, educational, rehabilitation, and medico-legal contexts.

 

Support pathways differ depending on how services are commissioned. All work begins with a clear clinical question and defined purpose, whether referrals are parent-led or professionally instructed.

 

We offer services across the UK, with assessments delivered in person or remotely where clinically appropriate.
